Construction Supervisor – Civil & Structural Projects

About the role

Saudi Gold Refinery is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead civil, structural and mechanical works for its refinery and CIL plant expansion projects in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Engineering & Projects Manager, you will ensure that all construction activities meet the highest safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily construction activities for civil, structural and mechanical works, ensuring alignment with approved engineering designs.
• Enforce Permit‑to‑Work systems and safety regulations to maintain a zero‑harm environment.
• Inspect materials and workmanship for compliance with SASO standards and project specifications.
• Monitor contractor manpower and productivity to meet weekly construction targets.
• Resolve technical conflicts on site by coordinating with the engineering team and reviewing design drawings.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports tracking physical completion against the project baseline.
• Coordinate delivery and storage of construction materials to avoid site congestion.
• Compile as‑built drawings and quality records for smooth handover to operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in industrial construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale contractor teams and enforce strict HSE standards.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian standards (SASO) and international quality frameworks.
