Contract Administrator

About the role

The Contract Administrator will manage and oversee all aspects of contract administration for large‑scale construction projects, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, regulations and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison between project stakeholders and contractors for all contractual matters, resolving conflicts and disputes.
• Assess, process and document changes to the contract scope, including variations, additional works and change orders.
• Coordinate with finance and project teams to track payments, invoicing and contractual cost management.
• Monitor contract performance, ensure obligations are met and prepare status reports for senior management.
• Identify contractual risks, advise on mitigation strategies and maintain comprehensive records of correspondence, amendments and claims.
• Ensure all contracts comply with local, national and international regulations, insurance, bonds and warranties.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in contract administration, preferably on large infrastructure or mega projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, civil, architecture, law or a related field.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts such as FIDIC and NEC.
• Experience with procurement processes and contract law.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with contract management software (a plus).
