Contract Administrator – Large Infrastructure Road Project

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh, within the Infrastructure Division. The role focuses on civil engineering and transportation projects such as roads, highways, bridges and tunnels, overseeing contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Contract Manager on contract compliance, change management, cost reporting and claim mitigation strategies.
• Review incoming correspondence to assess commercial impact and mitigate potential claims.
• Identify and assess potential contractual issues throughout the project life‑cycle.
• Ensure bonds, warranties, insurances and other undertakings protect the client’s commercial interests.
• Assist with client meetings, procurement, contracts and claims coordination with third parties and contractors.
• Administer consultants’ and contractors’ claims.
• Draft contractual communications and review all correspondence for commercial impact.
• Manage the application and payments process to ensure accuracy and contract adherence.
• Maintain adherence to quality‑control processes to deliver high‑quality work.
• Coordinate with discipline managers to guide consultant staff and foster collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional affiliation with RICS, IQS, ICES or CIOB is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project management on mega‑construction projects, primarily as a consultant.
• Experience with civil infrastructure, especially roads, highways, bridges and tunnels.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations and safety standards.
