Contracts Formation & Administration Specialist

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Contracts Formation & Administration Specialist to support the Ar Rjum green‑field gold project in Saudi Arabia. The role involves leading the preparation, negotiation and execution of subcontract agreements and ensuring ongoing compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue bid request packages, pre‑qualify bidders and manage the bid clarification process.
• Evaluate commercial bids, prepare bid summaries and obtain necessary approvals.
• Draft, review and issue subcontract and service agreements in line with project procedures.
• Coordinate pre‑bid, bid clarification and pre‑award meetings with internal teams, customers and contractors.
• Monitor subcontract performance, forecast progress and communicate any issues to stakeholders.
• Maintain subcontract documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in subcontract formation and administration within large‑scale construction or mining projects.
• Strong understanding of contract negotiation, commercial evaluation and approval processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external parties.
• Ability to work on‑site in Riyadh and travel to project locations as needed.
