Contracts Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

WSP is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the contractual and commercial management of major infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels across Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing all pre‑ and post‑contract activities, ensuring compliance with FIDIC and Saudi public‑works standards, and minimizing legal and commercial risk.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage contract activities from inception to close‑out, following consultancy standards.
• Lead negotiations, contract reviews, and compliance checks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interpret and apply FIDIC‑based contractual obligations, reviewing interim payments, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, legal advisors, and project teams to resolve disputes and contractual issues.
• Monitor contract performance, enforce terms, and manage contractual correspondence.
• Support procurement processes, including subcontractor and supplier agreements.
• Prepare and maintain contract documentation and commercial reports for internal and client review.
• Assist in claims analysis, dispute resolution, and arbitration support when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Law (Master’s or certifications such as MRICS, MCIArb, PMP preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of contract and commercial management experience in construction, with at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia or GCC on road/highway/bridge/tunnel projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, Saudi public‑works contracts, and dispute‑resolution procedures.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
