Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Controller will act as the strategic financial leader for the Ritz‑Carlton property in Jeddah. Reporting to senior management, the role drives financial planning, budgeting and performance analysis to support the brand’s service strategy and maximise return on investment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual budget plans, forecasting sales, expenses and wage costs.
• Analyse financial data and market trends to identify profit‑improvement opportunities.
• Monitor actual performance against projections and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets.
• Implement risk‑management controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting sound financial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with no experience required.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex data.
• High integrity, honesty and the ability to influence and communicate effectively.
• Leadership qualities to guide and develop accounting staff.
