Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen our security posture. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining a range of security controls that protect critical assets across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy security controls such as DLP, PAM, EDR, and SIEM.
• Monitor the performance and effectiveness of security controls and generate regular status reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve security control issues, escalating to vendors when necessary.
• Investigate security incidents or anomalies related to implemented controls.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and incidents.
• Stay current with industry trends and apply best practices to improve the security framework.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity with a focus on security controls.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments and ability to manage security solutions on Linux.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CompTIA CySA+, GDSA, or GSEC.
