Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to drive the design, implementation and ongoing management of NHC’s cybersecurity architecture and engineering functions. The role ensures that systems and applications are built securely, cryptographic keys are managed safely, and cloud environments are protected, while providing expert advice to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory and consultation on cybersecurity strategy and align it with business objectives.
• Oversee delivery of cybersecurity services, manage SLAs and monitor performance.
• Lead the design and implementation of secure architecture for systems, applications and cloud environments.
• Manage security controls across all systems and applications, ensuring hardening and continuous protection.
• Direct cryptographic key lifecycle management and maintain related policies.
• Ensure compliance with NCA and other relevant regulations, conducting regular audits.
• Drive continuous improvement of security architecture, policies and practices.
• Collaborate with the CISO and other teams, reporting on architecture and engineering activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading cybersecurity architecture and engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into secure designs.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
