Cybersecurity Defense & Assurance Manager

About the role

The Cybersecurity Defense & Assurance Manager will lead the organization’s efforts to detect, analyze, and respond to emerging cyber threats. This senior position oversees threat monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, and proactive hunting activities to protect critical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee threat monitoring and detection, ensuring timely identification and analysis of new threats.
• Lead incident response teams to contain, eradicate, and recover from cyber incidents.
• Manage and improve threat intelligence feeds, closing information gaps and enhancing reporting.
• Drive proactive threat hunting using behavior analytics and threat intelligence.
• Direct digital forensics investigations to support response and recovery.
• Lead security assurance activities, including VAPT, Red Teaming, and configuration reviews across all assets.
• Communicate security findings and business impact to leadership and IT teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on defense and assurance.
• Strong analytical, risk‑based decision‑making and crisis management capabilities.
