Cybersecurity Defense & Assurance Manager

About the role

The Cybersecurity Defense & Assurance Manager will lead the organization’s threat monitoring, incident response, and security assurance programs, ensuring rapid detection and remediation of cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee threat monitoring and detection, ensuring emerging threats are identified and addressed promptly.
• Lead incident response teams to contain, eradicate, and recover from cyber incidents.
• Manage and refine threat intelligence feeds, closing information gaps and improving reporting.
• Drive proactive threat hunting using threat intelligence and behavior analytics.
• Continuously improve detection and response capabilities based on evolving attack vectors.
• Direct digital forensics investigations to support incident response.
• Lead security assurance activities, including VAPT, Red Teaming, and configuration reviews.
• Communicate security findings and business impact to leadership for timely remediation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on defense and assurance.
• Strong expertise in security monitoring and detection engineering.
• Proven incident response leadership and crisis management capabilities.
• Risk‑based analytical and decision‑making skills.
