Cybersecurity Engineer – Industrial Control Systems (ICS)

About the role

The incumbent will join Air Products’ Cybersecurity task force on the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project, based at the Duba site in Saudi Arabia. Working on an 8‑weeks on / 2‑weeks off rotation, the engineer will verify and validate cyber assets to ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform field verification of design, implementation and testing of cyber assets against cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain the cybersecurity asset register and related documentation under guidance of the Site Cybersecurity Lead.
• Lead risk assessment exercises, implement recommendations, and support pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Validate firewall rules, secure remote access, endpoint hardening, asset inventory, access control and logging before system energisation.
• Oversee architecture, standards and FAT/SAT/CSAT procedure development, execution and performance testing.
• Coordinate with engineering, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and client operations teams, acting as the technical interface with vendors.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting large‑scale construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, start‑up and hand‑over phases for industrial control systems.
• Ability to work on‑site in Duba, Tabuk Region, Saudi Arabia, on an 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.
• Strong understanding of local cybersecurity laws and regulations applicable to industrial projects.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with engineering, operations and vendor teams.
