Cybersecurity Engineer – OT Security (Oil & Gas)

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the implementation and maintenance of OT cybersecurity architecture for its manufacturing and oil & gas projects. The role focuses on protecting process control environments and ensuring compliance with network security guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions in manufacturing and oil & gas environments.
• Conduct inspections and health audits of Yokogawa cyber security solutions.
• Collaborate with DCS/ESD/SCADA service engineers for lifecycle support.
• Support multinational engineering teams and project managers during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with network security specifications and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on cybersecurity engineering experience, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, VMWare, CCNA, IEC62443, or GICSP are advantageous.

• Symantec/Veritas Backup Exec, Acronis, bare‑metal backup & recovery.
• SAN, NAS, LTO tape library setup.
• VMWare ESXi, Hyper‑V, shared storage services for high availability.
• HP and Dell hardware, SAN, tape library hardware.
• Switching, routing, firewalls.
• IEC62443, GICSP, MCSE, VMWare, CCNA certifications.
