Cybersecurity Manager

About the role

The Cybersecurity Manager will define and lead Al Majed Oud Company's overall cybersecurity strategy, ensuring protection of digital assets, compliance with national regulations, and effective risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and approve a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with digital transformation goals.
• Define, implement, and monitor security controls for infrastructure, networks, servers, and cloud environments in partnership with Operations and Infrastructure.
• Approve incident response plans, oversee SOC operations, and ensure 24/7 threat detection.
• Direct vulnerability assessments, periodic penetration testing, and remediation planning.
• Govern security of digital supply chains, third‑party contracts, and external systems.
• Ensure full compliance with the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) controls (ECC, CSCC) and maintain the corporate cyber risk register.
• Lead cybersecurity awareness programs and coordinate audits with regulators and independent auditors.
• Prepare and control the department’s annual budget, tracking OPEX/CAPEX and evaluating ROI of security solutions.
• Manage and develop the cybersecurity team, setting SMART goals and monitoring performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading enterprise‑wide cybersecurity strategies.
• Strong knowledge of NCA regulations and essential/critical cybersecurity controls.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, risk registers, and large security projects.
• Leadership experience directing SOC operations and multidisciplinary security teams.
