Data Privacy Senior Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Data Privacy Senior Specialist to lead the protection of sensitive customer and employee information across our organization. The role involves ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA, conducting risk assessments, and responding to data breaches.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement data protection strategies in line with departmental directives and legal requirements.
• Handle data privacy inquiries, incidents, and breaches, ensuring timely response and documentation.
• Maintain and regularly update data privacy policies to reflect evolving laws and business needs.
• Participate in risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data privacy, data protection or related IT roles.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with database management systems (SQL, Oracle).
• Data analysis tools such as Excel, SAS, R, and Python.
• Knowledge of encryption technologies and compliance software for GDPR, HIPAA.
