Date Palm Farm Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Date Palm Farm Supervisor to manage daily operations of a date palm plantation in Riyadh. The role involves overseeing palm health, irrigation, fertigation, pruning, pollination, pest control, harvesting and supervising farm workers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily farming and plantation activities, ensuring optimal palm health and growth.
• Oversee irrigation, fertigation, fertilization, pruning, pollination and harvesting processes.
• Monitor fruit development, yield and quality throughout the season.
• Coordinate pest and disease control measures and maintain soil condition monitoring.
• Allocate tasks to farm workers, maintain records of activities, treatments and production.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of agricultural tools and equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in date palm farming or similar agricultural operations.
• Hands‑on knowledge of date palm cultivation, irrigation, fertigation, pruning, pollination and harvesting.
• Experience supervising farm workers and managing daily agricultural activities.
• English proficiency required; Arabic is an advantage.
