About the role
We are looking for a Design Engineer specialized in Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL) to join our engineering team. The role focuses on the design of 132 kV and 380 kV power lines, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with project standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design overhead transmission lines for 132 kV and 380 kV voltage levels.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, technical calculations and plan‑and‑profile layouts.
- Perform sag and tension calculations and develop associated documentation.
- Verify that all designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to support design execution and resolve technical issues.
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the direct manager.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in OHTL design.
- Proven experience designing 132 kV and 380 kV transmission lines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with PLS‑CADD.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Proficiency with MicroStation.
