Design Manager

About the role

We are seeking an innovative and detail‑oriented Design Manager to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role you will lead the design function, drive creative excellence and ensure strategic alignment with organisational goals. You will oversee design operations, mentor a talented team and collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and implement comprehensive design strategies, plans and criteria for various projects.
• Assess feasibility, soundness and innovation potential of proposed design concepts.
• Lead, mentor and support a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
• Oversee specialised design functions including large‑scale projects, brand development and design system implementations.
• Monitor compliance with design standards, quality benchmarks and relevant regulations.
• Serve as a technical advisor and consultant on design‑related matters for stakeholders and leadership.
• Evaluate design operations and team performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading design teams, preferably with 15 years of relevant experience.
• Strong innovative mindset and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to mentor and develop talent within a collaborative environment.
