DevOps Engineer – Government Transformation

About the role

Devoteam is looking for a visionary DevOps Engineer to lead a large‑scale DevOps transformation for a governmental client in Saudi Arabia. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on implementation of a secure, automated framework.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the client’s current DevOps maturity and define a target operating model.
• Design and implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Drive a cultural shift toward DevSecOps, embedding security and automation throughout the lifecycle.
• Coach and mentor the client’s team to ensure sustainable capability and continuous improvement.
• Measure and improve delivery performance using DORA metrics.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience leading transformation initiatives.
• Ability to work with governmental stakeholders and influence cultural change.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
