Digital Solution Area Specialist – Security

About the role

As a Digital Security Specialist you will lead AI‑driven solution sales, selling cloud services and platforms while enabling digital transformation for customers, partners and Microsoft. You will shape security strategies, collaborate across Microsoft and partner ecosystems, and help protect governments and businesses against evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers and partner teams to qualify new opportunities, build pipeline, and drive deal closure.
• Identify business and technology readiness, map stakeholders, and implement strategies to accelerate sales cycles.
• Hunt and develop security opportunities by understanding customer priorities, governance, decision and budget processes.
• Collaborate with Global Partner Solutions to identify partners, develop joint proposals, and execute partner strategies.
• Lead security discussions with decision‑makers, share best practices, and act as a subject‑matter specialist on pursuit decisions.
• Mentor internal teams, organize events, and share competitor insights to inform sales tactics.
• Plan account strategies, forecasting, and business analysis with partners to target high‑potential customers.

Required profile

• Proven track record in technology or cloud solution sales, account management or business development with increasing responsibility.
• Experience managing end‑to‑end customer or partner relationships from opportunity identification through adoption.
• Ability to articulate how cloud and cybersecurity solutions address business and technical priorities.
• Demonstrated pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and delivery against defined goals.
• Extensive experience leading strategic or enterprise accounts and collaborating with senior executives (preferred).
• Background working with channel partners or alliances to execute joint sales motions (preferred).
