Director – AI Governance & Adoption

About the role

The Director of AI Governance & Adoption will lead the development and implementation of policies, standards and frameworks that ensure responsible, secure and consistent use of artificial intelligence across the Group. Reporting to the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, the role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on coordination of governance, compliance and adoption initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain AI governance policies, standards and ethical principles.
• Oversee data privacy, regulatory compliance and risk management for AI solutions.
• Drive organisational readiness through AI literacy programmes and change‑management activities.
• Lead enterprise‑wide communication, adoption measurement and continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, Information Security, Risk Management and subsidiary leaders to embed AI responsibly.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in governance, enterprise risk, organisational change, digital transformation, compliance or technology governance.
• Proven stakeholder‑management and communication capabilities.
• Track record of leading enterprise‑wide transformation or adoption programmes.
• Experience designing governance frameworks for emerging technologies.
