Director FTTX Operations

About the role

Mobily is seeking a senior leader to direct the operation and maintenance of its FTTx network across Riyadh. The role ensures continuous availability, optimal performance and compliance with standards for the core, multi‑play services, NOC and regional fibre infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day‑to‑day operations of FTTx core, multi‑play services, NOC and field fibre infrastructure.
• Develop, implement and maintain operation and maintenance standards, procedures and guidelines for FTTx services.
• Coordinate with Transport Design and Engineering teams to guarantee quality during project hand‑over.
• Monitor and supervise managed‑service providers and vendors, enforcing SLA/KPI penalties when required.
• Analyse network statistics, provide technical guidance for troubleshooting and rapid service restoration.
• Identify network weaknesses, define improvement frameworks and manage associated risk‑mitigation action plans.
• Recommend and oversee major software and hardware upgrades, planned outages and configuration changes.
• Ensure alignment with change‑management and configuration‑management processes across technology operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading large‑scale telecom network operations, preferably FTTx.
• Strong understanding of operational standards, SLA/KPI management and vendor oversight.
• Ability to motivate teams, communicate expectations and drive performance against defined standards.
• Experience working with cross‑functional engineering and design groups.
