About the role

The Director of Sales I leads all day‑to‑day sales activities for the Westin property in Riyadh, focusing on building long‑term, value‑based customer relationships that drive revenue. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and hands‑on execution to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring alignment with market opportunities.
• Set and monitor personal and team booking goals, providing aggressive leadership to maximize revenue.
• Oversee daily sales operations, approve space releases for catering, and participate in sales calls to acquire and close new business.
• Generate proposals, write contracts, and manage customer correspondence for booked events.
• Analyze market and financial data, support revenue management with accurate forecasts, and review guest satisfaction results for continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external sales channels, attending trade shows and customer events to strengthen partnerships.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field plus 3 years sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 1 year relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead a sales team, set performance targets, and drive results in a hospitality environment.
