Document Controller - Saudi National

About the role

The Document Controller will manage, organise and maintain all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, traceability and compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations and client standards. Working closely with project teams, the role guarantees that the latest approved documents are readily available to all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective document control system in line with company and client requirements.
• Handle receipt, registration, distribution, revision control, retrieval and archiving of all technical and commercial documents.
• Maintain registers for drawings, specifications, sub‑mittals, RFIs, method statements, contracts and correspondence.
• Control document revisions and ensure only the latest approved versions are used.
• Operate document management platforms such as Aconex, EDMS, SharePoint or Primavera.
• Coordinate timely distribution of documents to engineering, QA/QC, procurement, contracts, consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor submission schedules and ensure deliverables meet contractual deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive project information.

Required profile

• Minimum three years (36 months) of experience in document control within construction or engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of document lifecycle processes and contractual documentation requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
