Drill Bit Repair Technician – Dammam, 2nd Industrial City

About the role

Repair and assemble drill bits and DLR equipment to a high standard, performing manual and machine grinding, blast cleaning, inspection, brazing and hardfacing tasks safely and efficiently. Support the Operations Manager in maintaining workflow and meeting operational deadlines while complying with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble components according to engineering drawings and set procedures.
• Perform torch brazing, hardfacing and use oxy/acetylene & propane equipment for repairs.
• Inspect parts using standard measuring instruments, report non‑conformances and ensure quality standards.
• Handle material movement, including forklift loading and unloading, as required.
• Maintain housekeeping, adhere to HSE legislation and company policies.
• Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and support other departments when needed.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or equivalent in metal fabrication, or 3‑6 years of related experience.
• Proven experience with TIG welding and thermal processes such as oxy‑fuel hardfacing.
• 5‑7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good knowledge of safety and quality procedures.
