Egress Technician – Aircraft Maintenance (PC21)

About the role

The Egress Technician will perform and schedule inspections, maintenance and unscheduled rectification of aircraft equipment and associated components for the MBES & PC21 egress systems. The role includes providing on‑the‑job training and production inspections, as well as troubleshooting, installing, repairing and operating all egress components and test equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft servicing, fault troubleshooting, modifications, inspections and evaluations of PC21 egress systems at intermediate level maintenance.
• Provide workshop support, including maintenance servicing, fault rectification, component inspections and test equipment evaluations.
• Assess and determine corrective actions and operational status of specialty aircraft systems and support equipment.
• Maintain Production Inspection signatory capability and obtain required trade certifications.
• Deliver informal and formal on‑the‑job training to support RSAF and civilian Saudisation programmes.
• Operate RSAF aircraft data management systems such as AUTO LOG and MIRO Gold.
• Comply with RSAF safety and foreign object programmes.

Required profile

• National civilian or military recognised aircraft maintenance traineeship/apprenticeship.
• Completion of an Egress/Armament Maintenance course and an Explosive Handling course.
• Extensive practical maintenance experience after qualification.
