Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Assist senior engineers in the installation, commissioning, start‑up and testing of industrial facilities and equipment across NAPCO Flexible Packaging affiliates in Saudi Arabia. Oversee daily progress for assigned tasks and ensure project deliverables are ready for hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Assist higher‑level engineers with installation, commissioning, start‑up and testing of industrial machines and ancillary equipment.
• Oversee daily work progress for assigned tasks and report to the project team.
• Review on‑hand material, request required items and coordinate with lead technicians and contractors.
• Report project progress, team working hours and attendance.
• Recommend plan changes to lead technicians after section‑head approval.
• Implement safety and health requirements according to relevant codes and standards.
• Supervise electrical/mechanical work including medium‑voltage, low‑voltage, power distribution, cabling, electrical safety and lighting.
• Oversee loading/unloading of industrial equipment, verify packing lists and report any damage.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed and ready for hand‑over.

Required profile

• Ability to assist and learn from senior engineers.
• Strong coordination skills with lead technicians and contractors.
• Capability to report progress, working hours and attendance accurately.
• Willingness to recommend and implement plan adjustments.

• Ability to handle equipment loading, unloading and verification processes.
