Emerging Technology Services Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Emerging Technology Services Engineer to lead innovation initiatives, evaluate cutting‑edge technologies, and build proof‑of‑concepts that drive business transformation. The role combines hands‑on AI/ML experimentation, cloud‑native development, and automation to create scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Research, evaluate and implement emerging technologies to solve business and technical challenges.
• Design, develop and deliver AI/ML proof‑of‑concepts, including model creation, evaluation and deployment.
• Build cloud‑native, scalable, resilient and secure solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Create automation and orchestration workflows, leveraging scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product and business teams to identify innovation opportunities.
• Document solution architectures, technical findings and best practices.
• Mentor technical teams on emerging technologies and participate in architecture reviews.

Required profile

• 6–11 years of professional experience in software engineering, cloud technologies, AI/ML or emerging‑technology projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
