End to End Optimization Specialist Professional

About the role

The End to End Optimization Specialist will monitor and improve the performance of Mobily's core and transport networks. You will work closely with planning, project, and operations teams to ensure network upgrades and events are managed without service degradation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze core and transport network performance on a regular basis.
• Conduct proactive and reactive audits to identify capacity and performance issues.
• Recommend parameter changes, feature activations, and upgrades to enhance network performance.
• Collaborate with other optimization teams to pinpoint issues and define improvement actions.
• Coordinate with planning and project teams to manage roll‑outs, expansions, upgrades, and trials.
• Benchmark improvements or degradations resulting from implemented recommendations.
• Support analysis of trials, new features, and special events such as Ramadan and Hajj.
• Assist performance and operations teams during widespread or KPI‑impacting incidents.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by senior supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with at least 70% of the listed network domains (PS/CS Core, Transport IP, Microwave, Probe solutions, OSS/PM tools).
• Familiarity with industry standards from ITU‑T, ETSI, 3GPP, and IETF.

Required skills

• Knowledge of mobile network protocols and architectures (PC, CS, transport, MW, Radio).
• Understanding of the OSI model and ability to apply relevant standards.
• Experience with CEM and network service quality measurement.
• Proficiency with databases, OSS/NMS applications, and trace/probing tools.
• Formal certifications in PS Core, Transport or Transmission (advantageous).
• Vendor experience: Huawei, Ericsson, Alcatel‑Lucent (ALU), Anritsu, Smart Care.
• Tool proficiency: ENIQ, NetAct, U2000, Cacti, Wireshark, MS Office.
