About the role

The Engineering and Design Manager will lead innovative projects within SATCO, integrating engineering principles with design strategies to boost operational efficiency and drive business success. You will guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, ensuring project outcomes align with corporate goals while fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design teams to develop solutions that meet project specifications and client expectations.
• Oversee design coordination, shop drawings, and IFC drawing approvals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate design concepts with engineering processes.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify development opportunities for team members.
• Implement and maintain quality‑assurance processes to meet regulatory requirements and minimize risk.
• Research industry trends and emerging technologies, applying insights to improve design methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering and design teams in a construction or related environment.
• Strong understanding of design coordination, shop drawing production, and IFC approval processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, quality assurance, and staying updated on industry advancements.
