Enterprise Architecture Lead

About the role

We are hiring an Enterprise Architecture Lead on behalf of a leading banking organization in Riyadh. The role will shape and lead the architecture strategy for large banking transformation programs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the target enterprise architecture (business, application, data, and technology) for banking environments.
• Build architecture roadmaps that support digital transformation, core banking modernization, and integration initiatives.
• Set architecture standards, principles, and governance, and lead Architecture Review Boards.
• Assess solutions and vendors, ensuring designs are secure, scalable, and compliant with SAMA regulations.
• Work with business, IT, and delivery teams to turn strategy into workable solution designs.
• Lead and mentor solution and technical architects.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture, with proven banking sector experience.
• Strong knowledge of core banking systems, payments, digital channels, and integration (APIs, ESB, microservices).
• Hands‑on experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, and modeling tools such as ArchiMate or Sparx EA.
• Good understanding of cloud, security, and SAMA regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• TOGAF certification is a plus.
