Environment, Health and Safety Manager

About the role

The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager leads the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE management system across all company entities and project sites. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role ensures compliance with Saudi regulations and international standards while fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Group HSE management system aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Set annual HSE objectives, targets and improvement plans for each subsidiary.
• Establish Group‑wide HSE policies, SOPs and site‑specific safety plans for construction, manufacturing and oil & gas activities.
• Lead the Group HSE Committee and report performance and risk exposure to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Civil Defense, MHRSD, GOSI and environmental permitting authorities.
• Maintain liaison with regulatory bodies, track legislative changes and update internal policies.
• Prepare for and host external HSE audits, certifications and client pre‑qualification assessments.
• Direct hazard identification, risk assessments (HIRA) and job safety analyses (JSA) across all sites.
• Lead incident, near‑miss and accident investigations, ensuring root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in construction, manufacturing or oil & gas sectors.
• Proven experience managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE legislation and international best practices.
• Ability to advise senior leadership on risk mitigation and regulatory exposure.
