Environmental Specialist

About the role

Tronox is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support its environmental compliance program across its industrial facilities. The role will monitor key HSE parameters, conduct inspections, and deliver training to enhance the capability of the environment teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform compliance monitoring and measurement of environmental and HSE parameters and equipment.
• Conduct environmental inspections and support audit activities.
• Maintain environmental documentation in line with quality standards.
• Develop and deliver environmental training and awareness sessions.
• Prepare technical reports, incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Analyze environmental data and generate reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, chemical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental compliance within industrial settings.
• Experience with environmental permitting, inspections, monitoring and reporting.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
• Preferred certification as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and experience with Saudi Arabian regulatory bodies.
