EV Charging Technical Lead

About the role

The EV Charging Technical Lead will manage Al‑Futtaim’s EV charging network across Saudi Arabia, ensuring all home and flash chargers are installed, commissioned, and maintained to OEM and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Senior Manager – EV Charging, the role bridges field contractors, internal stakeholders, and Saudi regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve customer complaints on AC home chargers and DC public chargers, performing on‑site diagnostics and corrective maintenance within SLA windows.
• Execute software upgrades, firmware patches, and configuration management on charger hardware.
• Support commissioning and functional testing of new installations, providing technical sign‑off after full verification.
• Coordinate with SE‑certified contractors to plan, schedule, and supervise AC and DC charger installations, ensuring compliance with SASO, SE, and MOMRAH regulations.
• Prepare and submit technical reports, site surveys, commercial quotations, and maintenance logs to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in EV charging infrastructure installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently on site and coordinate multi‑discipline trades.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on uptime and customer satisfaction.
