About the role
Jumeirah Jabal Omar, a luxury hotel located minutes from Masjid Al Haram, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial activities of the property. The role combines strategic budgeting, reporting, and team leadership to support the hotel’s performance and compliance with Jumeirah standards.
Key responsibilities
- Administer accounting policies, procedures, and procurement practices across the property.
- Prepare, interpret, and present financial statements and management reports.
- Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring departmental targets are met.
- Lead the Finance team, fostering talent development and succession planning.
- Provide accurate forecasts for resource allocation and business performance optimisation.
- Deliver value‑added performance reporting to identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities and follow up on audit findings.
- Maintain strong relationships with the apartment owner/representative to align business objectives and secure approvals.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
- 5–7 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and audit processes.
