Finance Manager - Operations

About the role

The Finance Manager – Operations will act as the embedded finance business partner for our entertainment venues. You will provide financial leadership, strategic insights, and decision support to venue management teams, driving profitability and cost optimisation across all destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Own venue P&L performance, managing financial results, analysing revenue streams and monitoring operating costs to achieve EBITDA targets.
• Partner with venue and operations managers, translating financial data into actionable insights and influencing decisions early in the planning process.
• Track and analyse operational metrics such as per‑capita spend, attendance, revenue per visitor, labour cost ratios and F&B margins, recommending improvements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting, incorporating seasonality, event calendars and capacity, and provide variance analysis with corrective actions.
• Identify and implement cost‑optimisation initiatives, improving labour scheduling efficiency and vendor cost management.
• Ensure financial controls, overseeing cash handling, inventory management, shrinkage monitoring and audit support.
• Develop and lead the operations finance analyst team through coaching, mentorship and performance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (minimum).
• MBA preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Management Accountant (preferred) or Certified Public Accountant (advantageous).
• 6‑7 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within entertainment, hospitality or similar operational environments.
