Financial Controller

About the role

A financial controller plays a critical role in overseeing the financial operations at Plant Digital, ensuring the company's financial health, the accuracy of its reports, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, financial reporting and cash‑flow management.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, monitor performance against budgets and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate statutory, IKTVA and local content audits, work with external auditors and manage tax return preparation and filing.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws and internal controls, identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage and develop the finance team, fostering motivation, training and alignment with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; professional qualifications such as CMA, CPA or CA are preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of finance/accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a team‑leadership role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English and proven stakeholder‑management skills.
