First Team Club Doctor – Women’s Football

About the role

We are looking for an experienced First Team Club Doctor to lead medical care for a professional women’s football programme in Saudi Arabia. You will join a multidisciplinary team to ensure player health, welfare and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day medical management, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of injuries and medical conditions for the women’s first‑team squad.
• Deliver medical coverage during training sessions, matches and competitions, including emergency care and implementation of Emergency Action Plans.
• Perform and interpret musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasound and coordinate radiological investigations (X‑ray, MRI, CT).
• Collaborate with physiotherapy, rehabilitation, performance, nutrition and psychology staff on injury diagnosis, rehab and return‑to‑play decisions.
• Lead pre‑participation medical screening, ongoing health surveillance and maintain confidential medical records.
• Offer specialist expertise in women’s health topics such as menstrual health, hormonal issues, iron status, bone health, and pregnancy/post‑partum considerations.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) with a valid licence to practise medicine in Saudi Arabia.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Significant experience in sports medicine and managing elite athletes.
• Strong knowledge of women’s health and female athlete medicine.
• Demonstrated competence in pitch‑side and emergency medical care.

Required skills
