Founding Sales Representative (SDR)

About the role

Hopper is looking for a founding Sales Development Representative to help build and scale its advertising business. You will work closely with senior marketers, leveraging Hopper’s data and product suite to create high‑impact media partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise and mid‑market advertisers, driving new revenue and long‑term partnerships.
• Lead full‑cycle sales processes from prospecting and strategic pitching to negotiation and closing six‑ to seven‑figure deals.
• Develop multi‑quarter media partnerships, including custom sponsorships and data‑driven solutions.
• Serve as the primary senior point of contact for key advertiser relationships.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Analytics, Product, and Leadership to ensure strong campaign performance and retention.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across Hopper’s advertising product suite.
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM discipline.

Required profile

• 6–10+ years of experience in digital advertising, media sales, or strategic partnerships.
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets with large or complex accounts.
• Experience closing six‑ and seven‑figure advertising deals.
• Ability to sell consultatively to senior marketing leaders.
• Strong executive presence, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
• Data‑driven mindset with solid financial acumen.
