Full-Stack Engineer & Team Lead

About the role

Nextwo is looking for a senior Full‑Stack Engineer who will also act as the team lead for a Laravel + React squad. You will own the delivery of features from backend to frontend, ensure quality, and guide the team through planning and review cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end features using Laravel, React, and related technologies, including API design, UI implementation and automated tests.
• Own the team’s delivery, guaranteeing that output meets functional and quality standards.
• Perform first‑line code reviews, catching issues before they reach QA or the customer.
• Coordinate task assignment, moving away from self‑assignment and keeping visibility on who works on what.
• Serve as the single point of contact for planning, status updates and stakeholder communication.
• Mentor developers, raise the overall quality bar and provide hands‑on guidance.
• Balance hands‑on development with planning, review and leadership duties.

Required profile

• 7+ years of full‑stack development experience with strong hands‑on expertise in Laravel and React.
• Proven experience leading, reviewing or mentoring a development team.
• Ability to take a feature from concept through backend, frontend and testing to production.
• Excellent technical and cross‑functional communication skills.
