General Operator

About the role

3M is looking for a General Operator to join its manufacturing team in Medina, Ohio. The position offers full‑time work on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and assemble products according to production schedules.
• Operate and maintain machinery, ensuring standards are met.
• Finalize products, label them correctly, and prepare them for shipping.
• Follow daily production plans under supervisor direction.
• Learn and run any required equipment for assigned tasks.
• Perform quality checks and detect defects before moving products forward.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED (or higher) completed prior to start.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Minimum six months of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).

Required skills

• Ability to operate and maintain production machinery.
• Basic quality inspection and defect detection.
