General Procurement Manager

About the role

SPIMACO is seeking a General Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end procurement activities for its pharmaceutical operations. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective material availability while aligning sourcing strategies with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee team and project operations, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and sourcing plans within approved budgets.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiate competitive agreements, and monitor vendor performance for quality and compliance.
• Review purchase requisitions for specification accuracy, pricing, and policy adherence.
• Track procurement KPIs, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and drive process efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, finance, and other managers to ensure cross‑departmental alignment and accurate forecasting.
• Report on team performance and provide guidance for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 11 years of procurement experience, including at least 4 years in mid‑management.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
