Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

JASARA PMC is looking for a dedicated Geotechnical Engineer to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead geotechnical investigations, develop design solutions, and support construction activities across a range of civil engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geotechnical investigations, including soil sampling, testing, and laboratory analysis.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports that present findings, designs, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Develop geotechnical design plans in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Collate and assess data from field investigations, laboratory testing, and numerical modeling.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate geotechnical aspects into overall designs.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to geotechnical design specifications.
• Engage with clients and project stakeholders to communicate needs and findings effectively.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical investigation methods and soil behavior.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with geotechnical design software such as PLAXIS and Geostudio.
• Competence in AutoCAD for drafting and design documentation.
