Safety / EHS Engineer – Transmission Line (UAE)

About the role

We are hiring experienced Safety / EHS Engineers for OHTL projects in UAE. Candidates must have a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction and electrical infrastructure industry.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions for all site personnel.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE and welfare plans.
• Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Work Method Statements (WMS), and risk assessments.
• Promote a safety‑first culture and ensure all works are carried out in line with company HSE policies.
• Provide reports and documentation related to safety performance and site compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical).
• NEBOSH certification (mandatory).
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience in EHS roles, preferably on OHTL projects above 220 kV.
• Valid passport with at least 9 months validity.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Required skills
