Government Relations Officer – Saudi National

About the role

The Government Relations Officer will support SLS The Red Sea’s People & Culture team by managing government‑related processes, ensuring employee documentation and transactions comply with Saudi regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and follow up on employee government transactions such as Iqamas, work permits, visas, exit/re‑entry visas and final exits.
• Handle transactions through platforms including Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, Mudad, Absher, Balady and the Chamber of Commerce.
• Monitor validity and expiry dates of official documents and coordinate timely renewals.
• Support work visa processes for new joiners and coordinate documentation with Talent Acquisition and People & Culture teams.
• Process employee transfers, profession changes, sponsorship matters and other labor‑related transactions.
• Coordinate with government authorities and external entities to resolve pending cases.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding by completing required government formalities.
• Maintain accurate employee information across relevant government systems and keep organized records and trackers.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with government requirements and hotel standards.

Required skills

• Experience using Saudi government platforms: Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, Mudad, Absher, Balady, Chamber of Commerce.
