Graduate Engineer – Software Implementation

About the role

The AVEVA Operation Centre (AOC) Graduate Engineer will join a multidisciplinary team delivering and supporting software implementations for customers in the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors. Based in Al Khobar, you will be involved from contract signing through to final hand‑over, ensuring solutions meet client requirements for AOC, Digital Twin and legacy Wonderware platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver service engagements, including implementation of standard and customised solutions, training, requirements gathering and analysis.
• Provide product usage support and act as the primary technical point of contact for critical customers.
• Collaborate with global teams on solution development, documentation, deployment and delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to customer satisfaction.
• Travel to customer sites as required to support implementation and ongoing support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Familiarity with oil & gas or petrochemical business environments is highly desirable.
• Hands‑on experience with AVEVA Operation Centre, Digital Twin and legacy Wonderware products.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.

Required skills

• Basic scripting/programming knowledge: PowerShell, SQL, JavaScript, C#.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Understanding of Windows Server features such as IIS and COM+.
• Experience troubleshooting implementations and coordinating technical assistance.
