About the role
The Guest Service Agent provides attentive, personalized assistance to guests at The Ritz‑Carlton Amaala. Working across telephone, email, chat and mobile channels, you will ensure every request is recorded, processed and resolved promptly, enhancing the overall guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Answer, record and process guest inquiries via phone, email, chat and mobile devices.
- Operate the telephone switchboard, manage wake‑up call requests and route calls to the appropriate departments.
- Log all guest requests in the computer system and follow up to confirm resolution.
- Provide information on room features, property amenities and local attractions.
- Process room‑service orders, advise on menu selections and record transactions in the point‑of‑sale system.
- Assist guests with internet access and in‑room entertainment systems.
- Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and adherence to company policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience required; strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent verbal communication and clear telephone etiquette.
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
- Commitment to delivering courteous, guest‑focused service.
Required skills
- Telephone switchboard operation.
- Point‑of‑sale (POS) system usage.
- Basic computer data entry and logging.
- Email, chat and mobile communication tools.
