Head Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Head Housekeeping Supervisor who is dedicated to delivering extraordinary customer service and creating memorable guest experiences. In this senior role you will lead the housekeeping team, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and support continuous improvement across all areas of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Assign tasks to Housekeeping Supervisors and Room Attendants while maintaining a visible presence on the floors.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring it is cleaned, stored correctly, and reported for any maintenance issues.
• Control the economical use and safe storage of cleaning agents, and ensure day‑to‑day maintenance is promptly addressed.
• Oversee vacuuming, polishing, carpet care, and general cleaning to meet established schedules and quality standards.
• Implement training programs for all team members, ensuring understanding of role purpose and required standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all housekeeping products and services.

Required profile

• Degree in hospitality or a related field.
• Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping department.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Computer literacy; experience with Opera PMS is an advantage.
