Head of Infrastructure (Application) Unit

About the role

The Head of Infrastructure (Application) Unit will lead the secure and efficient use of operating systems and cloud platforms across the organization. This senior position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, budgeting, automation, and continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure to support business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce departmental policies, processes and procedures.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of product development infrastructure, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Provide input for budget planning and monitor financial performance.
• Oversee installation, migration and configuration of operating system components, cloud services and applications.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators in collaboration with banking operations.
• Ensure reliability, availability and proactive issue resolution for servers, databases and applications.
• Lead end‑user support, hardware connectivity and data security initiatives.
• Develop and maintain contingency and data‑recovery plans.
• Supervise a team of subordinates, ensuring procedural compliance and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading large‑scale IT infrastructure teams.
• Strong understanding of operating system and cloud platform management.
• Ability to manage budgets and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
