Head of Legal Compliance

About the role

We are partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company in Riyadh to appoint a Head of Legal Compliance. The role will serve as a strategic legal advisor to senior leadership, overseeing all legal and regulatory matters across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the legal function and act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership.
• Provide legal advice on commercial contracts, regulatory matters, statutory obligations and business activities.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex contracts, transactions and agreements.
• Identify and manage legal and compliance risks, delivering practical business‑focused recommendations.
• Lead significant disputes, litigation, investigations and major legal projects.
• Advise on regulatory, licensing, employment and other key legal issues.
• Manage and develop legal resources, supporting junior legal professionals.
• Build and maintain relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• 10+ years of legal experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or another regulated industry.
• Fluent Arabic and English.
• Proven experience managing legal teams, projects and complex legal matters.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi legal and regulatory requirements.
• Availability for face‑to‑face interviews in Riyadh.
