Head Technician – Dive Equipment Operations

About the role

The Head Technician is a site‑based leader responsible for the operational readiness, safety and reliability of all dive‑related equipment at our Red Sea destination. Reporting to the Manager – Dive Operation, you will ensure that every piece of equipment meets manufacturer recommendations, local regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily technical management of diving equipment, including inspection, testing, servicing, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Support the planning and development of equipment requirements for current and future dive centre assets.
• Provide technical support to other dive centre locations to maintain consistent equipment standards.
• Assist the Manager – Dive Operation in pre‑opening activities: set‑up, commissioning, coordination with RSG departments, and establishing maintenance schedules, inventory controls and spare‑parts planning.
• Maintain high equipment operating standards post‑opening, ensuring safety is the first priority.
• Keep accurate inventory records, inspection logs, maintenance activities, faults and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing dive equipment or similar technical assets.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with local regulations.
• Ability to work flexibly across site‑based, remote and office environments.
• Excellent organisational skills for inventory control and documentation.
